Past event content sample

The Events Content type is another example for taxonomy (or data) driven content. Events and News items have similar fieldsets and displays; however their data type is different. Like News, Events are transient (content becomes less relevant over time), but they have a start and an end date, as well as a location.

You can use the Event content type to list future events, as well as to provide resources like written documentation and slideshows for past events.
